Makes tank killing much more difficult if you don't have a laser designator on the ground or in another aircraft. I feel like the helo has to be within a 15 degree window of the target (basically facing the target). I love the additional zoom and the cleared view. But with an AI pilot flying around like an idiot, keeping the TADS cursor on the target is pretty difficult. And the hellfires don't turn on a dime if you are facing away from the target a bit.
Any plans to mod the hyper accuracy of the 30mm cannon? Gun cam vids on Youtube show it being pretty inaccurate in real world. What is that called, dispersion?
By the way, the above is not a criticism. In fact, it seems more realistic. For example, now you can steer hellfires into buildings easily. But if there is a way of locking the view of the camera onto a building or tank or bicycle or whatever by hitting the slash key, it would be easier. Maybe that's not possible.
But I know you can do it in "camera.sqs mode" when making videos or taking photos.
