I think this addon has a problem running in multiplayer on a NON-dedi server. The effects show on clients who connect but not the server.

For those who want to play with it on lan, the way I "changed" it to work was to edit the line which the server runs.

So you de-pbo the file and if for example you wanted to use the sand storm, open the folder
NIM_SandStormServer
or if you the blizzard
NIM_BlizzardServer

in these sqs files find the line at the top that says

?(local _logic):_server = true
?((missionstart select 0) == 0):_server = true; [] exec "\NIM_Weather\NIM_SandStormClient.sqs"
?(!_server):[] exec "\NIM_Weather\NIM_SandStormClient.sqs"; exit

and change the missionstart (middle) line to....

?(_server):_server = true; [] exec "\NIM_Weather\NIM_SandStormClient.sqs"

WHich means only the server will run that line.. I think the problems comes from "missionstart", though I am no expert. Anyway, that worked for me... it may be wrong but atleast it allowed us to use it.

i could nto even get snow to work and found the read me confusing it says easy to use

yea right

a demmo mission would have made it a lot easer
