The Sahrani Electrical Grids (SEG) is a package of scripts that simulate seven electrical power grids on the Island of Sahrani. Mission makers may choose to use all the grids or only the one(s) pertinent to their missions.

SEG simulates electrical power grids on Sahrani by turning off street lamps when the substation that they are "connected to" by the simluation receives more than 50% damage. If enabled by the mission maker, players may also manually turn power off and on using the action when close to a large substation transformer (You may need to walk into the rows of the transfomer to see the action item). All substations have been created in the demo (default mode) and you may manually control substations as well in the demo (this is not the default in the script package).

SEG is fully Multiplayer and Join in Progress (JIP) compatible so that all players see the same lights off or on as appropriate.

The objectives below do not update in this demo mission. They are for instruction only:



Approach the substation in Dolores and turn the power OFF using the action menu. You should see nearby street lamps by the bridge and across the river switch off.


Turn the power back ON also using the action menu. Street lamps will switch back on.


Place three satchel charges evenly throughout the substation. Retreat to a safe distance and detonate them. The substation should be completely destroyed, the corresponding street lights off, and no options to turn them back on or off.


Optional Review of Other Substations: Use the empty AH-6 to travel to other substations on the island and test the grids or choose another position at a different substation to spawn in from the lobby.


Optional MP/JIP Test: Abort and return to the lobby. Re-join the server and notice that all previous conditions are maintained as long as the server is set to persistent.
