Which base were you at?
Once I understood which base allows me to do certain things I have no problems and good times. This is a great CTI. It is a hidden secret. Too many many Evolution servers running and not enough KP CTI servers.

I agree those dedicated servers and all of that BS gets really annoying and there aren't enough games like this out there... its all co op here and there but no really good PvP games.
