Correct demo mission for beta2 version can be found here: HAC Demo. Demo currently added to the package is without debug, personality and script init parameters (will work only with addon version, but without debug markers) - my mistake.
To add not generic Arma 2 units (mean not from Arma 2 itself, but from OA, ACE, other addons and DLC and so on) you need to use so called RHQ arrays. They are described in manual. Check this thread for some ready for copy and paste into init config examples:
How to use this arrays? Prepare RHQs for needed categories same way as in manual descripition and in examples and just paste all this into yours HAC init config as is, for clarity init.sqf for config init is recommended, but may be also init field of any unit in editor.
PS Very soon should be released new version, far better IMHO, many bugs from 1.0 beta2 eliminated too. Check first post of official HAC BIS Forums thread for news. Among other thing there will be simplyfied RHQ arrays - will be needed only one set for all Leaders. In 1.0 you must to prepare same arrays set for each Leader separately (see manual - RHQ_Something for A side and RHQB_Something for B side). There is explained, how to do it in 1.0 beta2 most simply way:

This is really cool!
Keep it up!
ok so i really like this but one question, how do you get OA units to work?
