good campaign. but i am having a problem with the chopper extraction in the 'black forest' mission. when my tem get in the chopper just flys to a point a couple of klicks NW of the airbase and hovers. the mission doesn't end. have you seen this before?
Yes i have experienced that too. Sometimes it ends where it should(before base) and sometimes it does exactly like you described. Try to load game before extraction and try again in the meantime.
I'll see what i can do to it.
I'll just tested with V.1.2 and the mission ended like it was supposed to.
But i changed this ending trigger even more with coming update (V.1.3) so it should work most of the time.

I've got a problem every time I try to play the campaign
When I attempt to start the campaign, the screen starts to load then it CTD and an error window pops up saying "invalid crew civilian"?
Any help?
Are you using any MODs ? If yes then try loading just vanilla ARMA2 without any mod and see if that helps.

campaign is not bad, really, but i have one problem. The fourth mission will not end. I killed all people, the two BMP´s and the trucks.
Could you please be more specific about the mission because there is no mission where your objective is to destroy trucks or BMPs.
Fourth mission is called Air Raid and objective is to destroy 3 tanks. 2 x T-72 + 1 T-90 and then return to base and report to your CO marked on map.

Objective is to clear Krasnostav from all enemies. In Krasnostav are about 40-50 enemies, two BMP´s and one enemy truck. I killed all and searched round about 3 - 4 hours for more enemies, but couldn´t find some more. The town is completely clear, but the mission will not end.
well. Thats mission 2 not 4. Village sweep. There must be still enemies around. Sometimes they just lay down and therefore hard to see. Circle the town around with vehicle. That usually drives them out of the holes.
I droved around the city two or three hours, but can´t find any more enemies.
That's really odd. There is just simple trigger checking the area aroud Krasnostav if there no OPFOR in it the mission ends. Double checked the mission yesterday and found no errors.
Btw. I did add sniper in small forest area just S of Krasnostav. It's in the edge of town. Check that too. The trigger area covers whole town and outskirts of it.
I was really enjoying the campaign until the Black Forest mission. I can't get the chopper to come.
The first time I radioed for pick-up after clearing the enemy close to the extraction point and the chopper didn't come at all.
The second time I radioed for pick-up right after completing the "Destroy the Tunguska Platoon" task and four choppers pilots arrive from the west on foot without the chopper, after I cleared the extraction point.
Is it possible the chopper crashed and only the pilots showed up

The extraction chopper can be called to extraction point only when mission objective is completed. All 3 tunguskas must be destroyed.
I triggered sidechat to that extraction radio code so that you know when it's coming. It says something like "All AA taken out, blaa, blaa". If the task isn't completed no sidechat message appears.
There's no other requirements for extraction to come.
It may have been that chopper have crashed but the odds are minimal. I have played this mission through with every version. 8 now. And always the chopper have arrived and not just the pilots. So pretty rare thing to happen i suppose.
However i changed the choppers helipad area so that it can't hit to trees or whatever else. New version 1.8 should be up soon.
Thanks for the feedback and hope you get through the mission now. Just remember to restart mission from beginning with revert.
