I downloaded the mission and looked forward to playing it, however it doesn't seem to work. When I select it in the scenario select, I choose the difficulty, it loads, but then jsut jumps straight back to the mission select?

Yep, this mission has to go into a 'Campaigns' folder which you might have to create in your Arma2 directory. Once you've done that, you'll see it under Campaign in the start up screen.
