I like the mission setup, idea, and story, but here is the problem I encountered.
I destroyed the farmhouse, then proceeded to the second building unnoticed. I planted the 2 satchel charges on the next building and succesfully left the area w/o getting noticed. Before setting off the second pair of satchel charges for the second objective, I walked in the direction of the rendezvous and kept going just before the satchels were out of range to be as far away as possible from any patrols. I saved and set them off. My task said it was completed and now I have to rendezvou with Vlek squad. Got there and waited like 3 minutes, Vlek squad never showed up.
Glad you liked the mission. Re the problem your having:
I just tested the part you mention and timed how long it takes for Vleck to arrive at the RV. It takes 4 and a half minutes of game time for the squad to arrive. There are coming from the western edge of Staroye. Its only 350m away, but over steep terrain.
Thanks for pointing this out, as when testing/playing the mission, I always called the squad while I was on the way the RV, perhaps I should revise the briefing to point this out.
Ok, so I went back to the mission and waited some more. Nothing showed up, so I figured maybe the AI just decided to take longer, so I put the game in 4x speed and waited again but they never showed. Then I took the initiative to go to where they come from, the east, and see if that would trigger them. I found Vleck squad but they were not moving, just standing there. After this I decided to reload the game from a previous save just before triggering off the second pair of satchels for the second building objective. This did not help either, Vleck Squad performed the same. Not sure what the problem is, maybe I took too long to compete the objectives? Maybe I need to be closer to the 2nd objective before blowing it up?
Just letting you know what I came accross, I just want to help.
Ahh, that explains that. I was worried there that the mission was broke or I hadn't mentioned it in the briefing. (Notes-Support-"...once your second objective is complete, call Vleck squad on your radio". Although I do realise there is a lot of info in the briefing and notes.
Your feedback is appreciated though :) The fact that you tried the mission several times means it is worth it. Cheers.
I just played your mission, great one, well done. Especially good is the choice to do everything on your own (which I prefer) or get help from the AI squad.
One little shortcoming exists, probably not your fault, but you can do something about it: The extraction chopper always crashes into the trees. I even tried to blow away as many trees as possible (I had only 8 satchels left over) before calling the chopper, but not enough, I probably should have shaved the whole hill *lol*
Maybe you can change the take-off vector a bit so it won't turn around and try to fly into the hill, but first gain altitude while flying to a waypoint a few meters further to the east (just an idea).
Hi Brainbug. Glad you like it, makes it worth it. :)
If its not the Hind gunship crashing, its the extraction heli. (I'm surprised Vleck squad doesn't run into a tree tbh!) I had moved the EP several times during testing, I'll have a look it today.

Nevermind my last post. I did not catch the first time that you have to call them over the radio.
