If you get an error on loading regarding NVGoggles, just redownload this. It won't break your saved game. Not sure what's causing it.
Also, due to some bug in Arma2 since last patch, sometimes your troops stay in combat mode no matter what. This isn't a bug with the mission, it's a bug in A2.
I'm suffering from very low FPS in this mission, unfortunately not playable that way. While every other SP mission or MP game (e.g. Warfare) runs fine, I only get around 6-7fps here. No difference if I change any detail settings, the CPU is far from being fully loaded either (AMD Phenom II Quadcore @ 3GHz). When I had low fps consistently in the game, I'd look for the reason on my end, but it's just this mission. Probably it's choking on some script. Anyone else suffering from the same problem?
looks like one of the script sections was loading it up. Turned off grass, and removed animals and civilians and it smoothed up quite a bit. Without giving up a spoiler, it smooths out later.
if you re-download, it won't break your saved games. Working on a 1.1 version with some cleaner scripting.
Also used F2 script pack to make this, and it loads up a bunch of worthless scripts. I pulled out everything not needed. Forgot to mention that. F2 is nice but it loads a ton of stuff that never get's activated or used during the mission filling your CPU with gunk. Pulled all that out. Reduced the size of the PBO by over 60%.
Just played Version 2.0, now it's playable, although just barely (FPS were in the 15-20 range, still a good deal lower than other missions). I played it realistically, i.e. I got the package and drove around the front line to avoid danger and arrived without any enemy contact at all at the base (so maybe you should set up a road block near Khelm or so). But considering the massive scripts, I think I'll replay it and drive right into the deep shit you prepared for us ;)
Thanks, please keep the SP stealth missions up.
You're in for a big surprise.
Ok, there's a weird bug...
If you start the game and you don't have Silenced MP5's. Do a restart, then save.
There is more to this map than meets the eye. Work with it.

Cant play this mission. FPS is too low.

The FPS are just too low... Unplayable this way. I have very good FPS in other missions, but unfortunately not in this one.
