Thanks for this map, Favslev. I have been having a lot of fun with the airbase area. I realize that this "island" is currently in alpha stage, so I encourage you to keep improving when you can... with Ver. 2.0 Alpha, the map is very playable by humans, but with AI aircraft at the airbase, AI aircraft tend to stray off the taxiways and drive over grass. Also, I noticed lots of dust on taxiways and runways. If you can, in your next version, would you mind addressing the AI taxi issue and dust?
Anyway, I am working on creating a video featuring this wonderful "Island". I will post a link to it later. Thanks again for your hard work on this project. - penneyfour.
This map deserves a lot more credit than it currently has. This has been my go to map for the most realistic tank battles with mechanized infantry support, large plains, pitted terrain and dense forests allow for great armor positions, ambushes, and defense positions, this is the most realistic looking map and terrain. If someone is looking for Steel Beasts style map and game play for armor engagements, this is perfect. Thanks so much!
