I attempted this version 0.9, 3 times.
No image overview? At start, I get an error, "bad link to static object, load mission in editor and save again".
The first time I began over a tiny island and the heli landed in the water where we were put out and were swimming in air. The heli never left or blew up while under water. It would also not allow me to suspend the mission, I would have to alt/tab and shut the game down. I was running the CWR2 mod and thought there may be a conflict.
Second attempt, No mods this time. This time we are over land. The heli lands in the center of a copse of trees(never explodes), we get out I can hear gunfire but can not detect where its coming from because 1.The heli is stuck trying to get out of the copse of trees and 2.The music, although good choice, is too loud for me to hear the muzzle blast. You added it to the sound section of the Description so it is not adjustable with the music slider. Since I can't hear, I try and abort again but it still refuses to allow me to do so.
Third attempt, I play an official mission and everything functions fine. I try yours again and the same problems.
First off, start a thread in the forums so people don't have to flood the comments section with beta feedback. Second, fix that bad static link(it's probably causing the abort problem), Third, fix the helis unload waypoint(he moves to the trees everytime), Fourth, either move the music to "music class" in the mission config, or stop it during combat. Lowering it may be okay but some folks don't care for distractions during a firefight.
@savedbygrace
Thanks for the feedback on my first ever uploaded mission.
1) There is not an image overview.
2) Neither myself nor any of my friends that have tested the mission have encountered the error you speak of.
3) In every single test my friends and I have done, the helicopter has inserted just fine. I don't know what is causing the problems you're talking about.
4) I do not know how to change the music to the music class, but I will get on trying to learn that. For the time being, I will turn it down.
5) Once again, in every single test run, the song has ended by the time contact initiates, so that shouldn't be an issue.
6) Haven't encountered the "abort" problem in any test run thus far, so I really don't know what I can do to fix it if I've never encountered said problem.
Without a doubt, it will take more tests by others not in your circle to prove that error then. It may also solve the abort problem. Just to note, My game runs fine for any other mission I have downloaded and played. Perhaps you should only load the recommended addons yourself and exclude any others that you may be loading as well to at least attempt an inspection.
Regarding the insertion, it looks as though the heli goes to a move waypoint close to the wood line and once there, it slowly drifts toward the woods before landing and ejecting the cargo. Thats indicative of two synched waypoints such as unload and getout being perhaps too far apart. The heli satisfies the condition in its waypoint but the units cant satisfy theirs so the heli drifts toward it. "Unload" was intended for units grouped to the vehicle commander while "Transport Unload" was intended for units not grouped to the vehicle commander. If you did use an "Unload" waypoint, perhaps you could switch it to "Transport Unload" and see if that makes a difference. If "Transport Unload" is already in use, maybe adjust waypoint locations or insert an extra between the units waypoint in the woods to see if it makes a difference.

Speed of contact is too dependent upon gaming style but that is irrelevant. Move the music to its proper place in the config and you eliminate the problem entirely. Or not. I'm only trying to help and there are plenty other mission authors out there to waste my play and feedback time on.
P.S. That's not my vote on your mission. I wouldn't do that to you unless I actually finished the mission and it deserved such a low score.
